John Lilly of Dragon Electric Vehicles is building the b-bugs by converting  standard petrol sports buggies to electric power. He can design them with different performance characteristics. The b-bugs for the 2011 trial are designed to have a maximum speed of 30mph with a 30 mile range.  You can see video clips here of a b-bug being driven along the hilly lanes of the Brecon Beacons National Park in October 2010.

The next clip shows what it’s like inside the B-Bug

Mentioned all videos are excellent. Few benefits of electric cars are reduced fuel costs, reduced pollution, reduced noise pollution and reduced stress levels. These are the benefits of electric cars, so Thanks to John Lilly for making these electric cars.
